Useful Links: National Colleges Green Week (April)

National Colleges Green Week is hosted by the Association of Colleges and encourages institutions to showcase the excellent work taking place across the sector in sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Colleges are invited to:

• Highlight and champion existing initiatives, such as:
  • Staff and student activities
  • Stakeholder roundtables
  • Fundraising or local community projects
  • Launching new sustainable facilities or programmes
• Collaborate with partners, including local organisations, agencies, and employers, to strengthen impact.
• Engage across their community, whether at a whole-college level, individual campuses, or in partnership with other colleges in the region.
• Promote their work publicly, sharing achievements and activities on social media using the hashtag **#CNGW2026**.

National Colleges Green Week 2026 took place from 20–24 April 2026.
